Hi all,
I am looking for all of the games PCS made for DOS (I think there were 30 in total).
Does any one have any of the full versions of these games lying around?
I did write to Phill vlassac of PCS games, asking if i could buy these games, but he said he was unwilling to sell them to me because he wanted to make windows versions (i don't see how this would affect his windows sales, but whatever).
I feel i have no choice but to ask here.
Thanks
Ryan Hutchings
I emailed him several months ago as well and got the same response. It's really a shame, as these games were great. I was even hopeful enough that he might have classified them as abandonware and would sell them to me at a discounted price, or even give them to me for free (of course I didn't say that when writing to him) but no such luck. Unfortunately, since I was maybe only 10 or so when these games were released, I never did buy them. I do have a few demo versions of some of them, but that's all I can give you. Hopefully someone else will have them.
I could also argue that point along side you. If I'm running one of these games on a purely DOS machine, wich I would do, or if, as is totally true for a friend of mine, I had never used Windows but used DOS daily, why should I be cheated out of these games and how would my using them on DOS influence the Windows sales? It would actually create more revenue, since the nonWindows computer users would then be buying games that they otherwise wouldn't have considered.
